About us:

M J Energy Services was set up by Mike Jackson who has been involved in renewable energy, energy efficiency and green issues for several years. We have a group of energy assessors and legal suppliers available to provide excellent service in the production of Home Information Packs (HIPs) and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) across the East Yorkshire region.

We also undertake renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Here is a list of some of our acheivements and past projects.

• Fully Qualified and Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with the NHER accreditation scheme.
• PhD in physics gained from research into the surfaces of semiconductors such as those used in solar photovoltaic panels (University of Liverpool). Expereince of academic research. 
• 10 years expereince doing engineering, science, project management and product development for a manufacturing company in Manchester.
• Ran a biodiesel project and made small solar panel systems.
• Attended many courses on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
• Advising local council and community groups on "green issues".
• Worked with local architects on energy efficient building design.
• Public exhibitions and campaign work for renewable energy developers.
  
• Currently working as a consultant on a energy efficiency and carbon reduction in housing project, having won funding from a government research scheme.

Green Campaigns is a company that offers professional campaigning and public relations services promoting the use of renewable energy. They offer campaign management services for renewable energy developers and environmental groups.

Climate Concern is a national UK network of speakers on climate change who can come and do a talk at group meetings in your area.
