us:
M J Energy Services is a business
run by Mike Jackson who has been involved in
renewable
energy, energy efficiency and green issues for several years. Mike is as fully qualified and
accredited
Domestic Energy
Assessor (DEA) with the NHER and STROMA accreditation scheme and was one
of the first trained energy assessors in the region. He is also a qualified Energy Assessor for commercial properties (NDEA)
Mike has a PhD in physics from University of Liverpool gained from research
into the
surfaces of semiconductors such as those used in solar photovoltaic
panels. He has experience of academic research and 10 years experience doing engineering,
science, project management and product
development
for a manufacturing company in Manchester. Over the past 5-10
years he has attended many courses on
renewable
energy and
energy efficiency.
We have a
group of energy assessors available to provide
excellent service in the production Energy Performance
Certificates (EPCs) across the East Yorkshire region.
We work with British ECO to
supply renewable energy systems.
We also undertake renewable energy and
energy efficiency projects. Here is a list of some of our past projects.
- Worked as a consultant on an energy
efficiency and carbon reduction in housing
project, having won funding from a government research scheme.
- Worked
on public exhibitions and campaign work for renewable energy developers.
- Worked
with local architects on energy
efficient
building design.
- Advised
local council and community
groups on "green issues".
- Set
up a community a biodiesel
project, having successfully bid for funding.
- Production
of small solar panel systems, suitable for garden sheds and garages etc.

covered:
We
provide Energy Performance Certificates
(EPCs), Energy Efficiency Assessments and Renewable Energy systems,
advice and information in the East Yorkshire area of the UK. Covering
Driffield, Bridlington, Beverley,
Hornsea, Market Weighton and Pocklington. (YO25, YO15, YO16 and HU17 postcodes
mainly) although we also get as far as Hull and Scarborough and Malton
in North Yorkshire.
